Featured Wellness Training by Stronger Families Spouses and significant others are encouraged to attend for a special wellness training on September 12th, by Stronger Families. In this two-module course, we'll be exploring Bridging the Gap and Managing Life's Transitions. Stress is a normal part of being a First Responder. Although not all First Responders experience PTSD, those without proper coping tools are vulnerable to damaging relationships. Bridging the gap between managing job stress and using effective communication skills with colleagues and loved ones is crucial for a First Responder's well-being. Transitions are an inevitable part of life. As we interact with community members, co-workers, children, partners, other family members, etc., recognizing the impact times of transition can have will increases the likelihood of a successful transition period. This takes time. It takes practice.
